Christvertising. Fake or real? I vote for fake. At first I wasn’t sure but after I saw this video I was convinced that there’s no way this can be legit. The humor is too obvious.
“If you like yourproduct, so do we, but more importantly, so does God. We believe that nothing is possible without the Lord’s blessing and consent. Your product is no exception.”
Christvertising is obviously taking pot-shots at supporters of the Prosperity Gospel. Brilliant. But what’s even more interesting to me is that we live in such a climate where a product like this would even cause us to pause and wonder if it’s real.

I want to laugh; I really do … but I have enough of a doubt in my mind that they just MAY be serious that I can’t decide if I should rather cry.
I like the new ‘awkward-style’ video-making coming to market! (i.e. see better_safe_than_sorry.html videos on facebook)
@Scott: No way this is real. I can buy it up to a point but once I saw that crack about “lots of refreshments” I was sure it was fake. I don’t care how stupid this guy may be, no one who runs a serious business would put that part in a promo video. I just can’t believe it.
@Derek: It does offer a sense of realism that more well-polished videos lack.
So are you saying there’s something fake about church coffee?
HAHAHAHA! Yes, quite possibly
