Lauren Cleary ruins her marriage on the TV show “The Moment Of Truth” [video]. But the fact of the matter is she ruined her marriage long before she went on this show. She ruined it by committing adultery. She ruined it by lying to her husband. I have zero respect for someone who unrepentantly commits adultery; as opposed to someone who commits adultery and is truly repentant. It makes me sick to my stomach to think that there are people in the world who have such little respect for their spouse.

I watched that episode last night and just had trouble thinking about what has happened to the family since. I was a little irritated by the fact that Fox still aired the episode (but I bet its been good for ratings), but I was pleased by the way - throughout the entire episode - the host tried to encourage her to stop and didn\’t try to make it seem better than it was. He even commented on the fact that the audience clapped at one of the true responses.
Yeah. By and large I think that show is ridiculous. It\’s what I call \”lowest common denominator entertainment.\” I lump it in to the same category that I put shows like C.O.P.S. and those \”Greatest Police chases ever\” things.
